18th November 2010- We have been to Arena UK today for the equine pathway selection it is the first time that I have attended a selection day but it was very well run and organised, both Elvis and Sidney jumped fantastic and were selected.
Elvis ( Balba R ) has now been sold and is having a very successful season with his new rider Ben Mayer. Elvis has also spent a little time at stud so his seamon is now available through AI.
Sid ( Bidney) has been sold to Andrew Saywell and David Mcpherson and has been doing very well throughout the season.
WELL DONE- to Geoff Billington and Uppercut who has been having a fantastic season at GP level with many wins.
WELL DONE- to Dale Burnham and Velvet VL in her first year at this level she has already had numeous wins in international competitions and on home turf she was 2nd in her first trial and won the PCA Grand Prix last week! Keep up the good work.
SELECTED FOR THE EUROPEANS- TRUELEVA to represent GB for the 2nd year in the childrens devision. After coming home last year with one gold and one silver medel we have high hopes for success again this year. ALSO after a very successful season ADELGONDE Z was selected to represent Ireland in the Juniors section. Good luck to you both!
WELL DONE- to the ever consistant WILD THING sold to Billy Twomey and riden by Anthony Condon they have been unbeatable this year. She is still only 8years old but has made the step up to bigger classes easily by winning the PCA Grand Prix in fine style at the hand and being placed in the trial then the following week finishing 2nd in a trail. She also Qualified for HOYS at her first attempt by winning the 7&8yo qualifier at Wales and West and then went on to win both the other 7&8yo classes at the show!
WELL DONE- to Dale Burnham and USIENNA B who were 3rd in the PCA Grand Prix last week and have been in flying form on a recent trip to France.
CARDIGAN Z and TIM STOCKDALE have also been doing well, the inexpereienced 7year old is really starting to come into his own now and looks like he will be very good horse for the future.
TARZAN had a very successful trip to Arezzo recently with around 110 starting in very competative 7year old class's he picked up two 2nd placings and a 6th place.
BENNY has now been sold to Andrew Saywell we wish him much success on this talanted young horse.
WELL DONE- Sophie Fewcett and Tuigje who are having a fanstic season at GP level Tuigje has now established himself as the top of sophie's string and is enjoying much success both on home ground and at international competitions.
